This track finds him singing about a person he fell for one night, but who doesn't return the same sentiment. Smith wrote this with James Napier and William Phillips. "The song just flowed out of us so naturally," Smith told NME, adding that it only took about 30 - 40 minutes to write. Smith took over an entire three and a half minute advertising break in a world broadcasting first, and transmitted a live music performance of this song to a sold-out crowd at London's Roundhouse. This won Best Song at the 2014 MOBO Awards. Smith was also triumphant in the Best R&B/Soul Act, Best Male, Best Album categories at the ceremony, which celebrates Music of Black Origin. This won for Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the 2015 Grammy Awards. Smith performed the song at the ceremony, where he also won for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. Mary J. Blige joined him on stage for the second verse and duetted with him for the rest of the performance. This was named Song of the Year at the 2015 BMI Awards.
