Toca's Miracle

Toca's Miracle by Fragma was a UK number 1 hit on Saturday, April 22, 2000 spending 2 week(s) at the top of the UK charts. In 2000, British DJ Vimto had the idea of taking the vocals of Coco's acapella vocals from the song "I Need a Miracle" and mixing it with the music of Fragma's "Toca Me." By amalgamating the titles, it became "Toca's Miracle." He pressed an illegal bootleg which got much attention from leading DJs. As Fragma and Coco were on the same record label at the time, an official release was made, and it went straight to #1 in the UK charts, selling 400,000 copies as well as topping the Australian charts. This was the first UK #1 where the acapella vocals of one track had been mixed with the backing track of another.
