Loneliness

Loneliness by Tomcraft was a UK number 1 hit on Saturday, May 10, 2003 spending 1 week(s) at the top of the UK charts. This was written by German producer Thomas Bruckner as an instrumental in 2001. It was based on a track "Share The Love" by Andrea Martin, which he picked up in a Munich charity shop. Thomas went on to explain why the song's title was "Loneliness" when it seems to be as much about happiness: "The lyrics say that happiness seems to be loneliness and loneliness killed my world. It doesn't really make much sense to me either, but I prefer it because of that. I like the idea that it is a bit crazy, it's just that kind of record." This was a UK hit after Radio 1 DJ Judge Jules gave the track extensive airplay.
